About me

My artistic practice explores processes of metamorphosis, identity, and
emotional transformation. Through painting, I investigate states of
transition those moments where form, emotion, and perception remain
unstable and in flux. My work is rooted in the tension between the visible
and the intangible, where the body becomes a symbolic territory for
change, memory, and introspection.

I primarily work with oil painting, embracing traditional techniques such as
grisaille, glazing, and layered construction, while integrating contemporary
gestures and abstract elements. This dialogue between classical
craftsmanship and modern expression allows me to create images that feel
both intimate and timeless. The slow, deliberate nature of oil painting
mirrors the internal processes I am to depict: transformation is never
immediate, but accumulative.

Recurring motifs in my work include the human figure, the gaze, and fluid
organic forms, often suspended in ambiguous environments. These
elements function as metaphors for vulnerability, resilience, and the
continuous negotiation between inner and outer worlds. Rather than
offering fixed narratives, my paintings invite viewers to project their own
emotional experiences onto the image, engaging in a silent dialogue with
the work.

My recent projects reflect a growing interest in the idea of identity as
something mutable shaped by time, memory, and environment. Painting
becomes a space of contemplation, where presence and absence coexist,
and where transformation is understood not as an end, but as a permanent
condition of being.
